AUSTRALIAN LEADERSHIP AWARDS(ALA) SCHOLARSHIP
ALA Scholarship are academically prestigious awards offered to high achivers from the Asia-Pacific region each year to undertake postgraduate study(Master's or Doctorate) and a Leadership-training programme in Australia. It does not include Graduate Diploma, with the exception of those Master's course that require the completion of a Graduate Diploma as part of the Masters degree. An ALA Scholarship has a total value of up to A$130000 for Masters degrees and A$250000 for Doctoral programme, not including provision for leadership training. Benefits inclue return air travel, visa support, establishment allowance, full tution fee, contribution to living expenses, introductory Academic programme(IAP) and Overseas Students Health Cover(OSHC) for the duration of the award(for award holder only)
Requirements:
Awards are open to all field of study; however, study programmes that relate to the priority themes of international trade, pandemics, security and climate change, including clean energy are encouraged. Outstanding candidates with high level of academic achievement at undergraduate and/or post graduate level, English language proficiency, demonstrated leadership potential, good prospects to influence socio-economic policy reform in thier home country and in the Asia-pacific region and a commitment to participate in Autralian Scholarship alumni activities on their return home, should apply.
