WHAT IS GRE?
GRE is the commonest graduate exam taken by the prospective graduate applicants for entry into graduate school of the USA. Admission panels use GRE scores as a common measure to evaluate applicants supplementing their undergraduate records and recommendations.
WHAT DOES IT HAVE?
The GRE General Test is composed of three parts-verbal, Quantitative and analytical writing. The verbal and the quantitative tests have seperate scores which range between 200 to 800
A good GRE Score can enhance opportunities for financial aid. Moreover, most reputed graduate schools require good GRE scores for admission. It's important to ensure at least 450 and upwards for each test for master's programmes and 500+ for doctoral programmes.

It does wihtout saying that it's important to prepare well in advance for the GRE before taking it. Brushing up your skills in vocabulary, reading comprehension, analogies, algebra, and geomerty is essential.
