US SCHOLARSHIP FOR INDIAN STUDENTS

STANFORD-INDIA BIODESIGN(SIB) INTERNATIONAL FELLOWSHIP
Training the next generation of medical technology innovators in India. The fellowship will last for two years
commencing from Jan2008. Approximately half of the fellow's time will be spent in New Delhi and other half at Stanford University. Fellow will receive tuition, stipend support and international travel arrangements. Fellows are expected to remain in India at the completion of the programme. The stanford India Biodesign Fellowship Programme is funded jointly by the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt. of India and Stanford University. This fellowship programme will be administered as a collaboration between Stanford University, the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi and All India Medical Sceince(AIIMS)

FULBRIGHT MASTER'S FELLOWSHIPS FOR LEADERSHIP DEVELOEPMENT
The fulbright Master's Fellowship for Leadership development are designed for outstanding young Indian to pursue a Master's programm at selected US colleges/universities in public administration, economics, communication studies, one to tow years, will provide funding towards tution and fees, living and related costs, including professional development in support of the US, and round -trip airfare. The scholars will travel on and will be subject to Visa regulations.
Requirements:
Applicants should have completed an equivalent of a US Bachelor's degree- either a four year Bachelor's degree or a Master's degree, if the Bachelors degree is of less than four years duration - from a recognised Indian university with at least 55% marks; have at least three year's full time(paid or voluntary)work experience relevant to their proposed field or study; be preferably in the age group of 25-30 years; demonstrate experience in leadership and community service; and should not currently/previously be enrolled in any other US degree programme.

THE LEE KUAN YEW FELLOWSHIP/SCHOOL OF PUBLIC POLICY GRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP
One year full time master's in public management(with one semester in Singapore and one semester in US at either Harvard or Columbia University) at the Lee Kuan Yew School of public policy, Singapore. Fellowship provides for a monthly stipend of S$1,500 for the period of the award, a one-time book allowance of S$500, one time settling in allowance of S$500, shared housing, tution, exam, health insurance and other approved fees, tuition fees and accommodation at partner university, travel from home country to singapore on award of the fellowship, from Singapore, and from Singapore to home country on graduation
A good Bachelor's degree and command over English language, eight years professional working experience minimum positions of responsibility and demonstrable track record of public sector leadership and achievement. For all nationals(except Singaporeans) enrolled in the programme.
