SCHOLARSHIPS FOR MINORITY STUDENTS

MERIT CUM MEANS BASED SCHOLARSHIPS

Minority students pursuing technical or professional courses at UG/ PG level in an institute recognised by an authority to be awarded by the Ministry of Minority Affairs.

WHO CAN APPLY?
Students admitted to a recognised college for technical/ professional courses based on a competitive exam. Students who have been admitted for these courses without appearing for a competitive exam will be eligible if they have not less than 50 per cent at the higher secondary/ graduation level. Annual income of the beneficiary/ parent or guardian should not exceed Rs 2.5 lakhs pa from all sources. A student residing in a particular state/ UT will be entitled for scholarship under the quota of the state/ UT only irrespective of his place of study.
