FORD SCHOLARSHIP FOR MUSLIM STUDENTS

FORD FOUNDATION VISITING FELLOWSHIP
Study in any area of the arts, humanities or the social sciences that has contemporary relevance to the study of Islam or the Muslim world. The Fellowship is tenable at the Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies from October 1, 2008. The Fellowship carries a stipend of £1000 per month plus a housing allowance of £700 per month. Fellows will be provided with office space and access to libraries. Fellowships are tenable for ten months.
Who can apply? Citizens of SAARC countries. Applicants should be scholars or writers at the post-doctoral or equivalent level. Senior and junior faculty members are eligible but an academic affiliation is not a necessary requirement. Application: May be downloaded from www.oxcis.ac.uk
