It is not about being a sales person in a shopping mall and selling merchandise to customers. Retail management is a lot more than that.The Retail management course is about departmental store retailing and shopping mall retailing business. Retail merchandise professionals process all merchandise shipments, achieving store sales and profit, communicating with the clients, administrating the stores and many others. The Retail management course includes: Introduction to retail management, supply chain management, effective communication, finance management, marketing, accounting, merchandise management, public relations, marketing and business communication, psychology of shoppers, organisational behaviour, business ethics, inventory management.
