AIEEE

It is a common entrance examination on all India basis for admission to professional and technical programmes in the country. The central board of secondary education (CBSE) is entrusted to conduct the all India Engineering entrance examination (AIEEE) for admission to BE/B.Tech. and B Arch/B planning courses offered by various engineering institutions including National Institute of Technology(NITs)
The Entrance examination would consist of two papers i.e. 1st paper consisting of three parts of physics, chemistry and mathematics of equal weightage with objective type question for BE/Btech courses. The 2nd paper is consisting Mathematics, Aptitude test and Drawing for B.Arch and B Planning. The Aptitude test is designed to evaluate candidate’s perception, imagination, observation, creativity and architectural awareness. There will be objective type questions with four options having single correct answer. Incorrect answers will be awarded negative marks
On the basis of performance in AIEEE, separate rank lists will be prepared for BE/BTech and B Arch/B Planning. Score card indicating All India Rank and State Rank with total marks and marks in each subject shall be sent to all candidates appearing in AIEEE
