Career in Animation

The word animation has to do with breathing life into characters. Hence, the field of animation involves giving shape, form and life to non-living things. It calls for creativity and imagination. Such a job can never be boring, right?
India is seen as one of the lucrative animation hubs of the world. This is because of the cost factor as well as its technical talent with its fluency in the English language.
Courses in animation and multimedia are offered by numerous institutes. Many also offer specializations in 2D and 3D, special visual effects, video game programming and so on. Institutes like Industrial Design Center (IDC), Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) and National Indian Institute of Design (NID) have a strict eligibility criterion — only graduates of architecture, technology and engineering, fine arts can apply for this course. However, generally, private institutes ask for a pass in class 12 for diploma courses
