CIPET Courses

Central Institute of plastic Engineering &Technology (CIPET) is a premier institution, fully devoted to manpower training and technical services other Plastic and allied industries. Presently CIPET has presence in Tamil Nadu (Chennai), Gujarat (Ahmedabad), Punjab (Amritsar), Madhya Pradesh (Bhopal), Orissa (Bhubaneswer), Andhra Pradesh (Hyderabad), Manipur (Imphal), Uttar Pradesh (Luck- now), Karnataka (My-sore), Bihar (Hajipur), West Bengal (Haldia)and Assam (Guwahati). Recently, Government of India has approved establishment of New CIPET in states of Rajasthan, Maharashtra and Haryana.
 
CIPET admits students through joint Entrance Examination (JEE) for admission to the following courses:
M.Tech. (Plastic /technology Engineering): Eligibility BE/B.Tech. In Mechanical/ Chemical/ Production/polymer Engineering or M.Sc. in Polymer Science / Chemistry with polymer specialization.
Postgraduate Diploma in Plastic Engineering (PGDPE): Eligibility BE/B.Tech./ B.Sc. Engineering (4 Years)in Mechanical/ Chemical/ Production / Polymer/ Tool Engineering / Electrical and Electronics/ Instrument ion/ Petrochemical/ Electrical/ Mechatronics or equivalent.
PG Diploma in CAD/ CAM for plastic Engineering (PGD Cad PE): Eligibility BE/B.Tech. In Mechanical/ Chemical/ Production/ Polymer and Tool Engineering
PG Diploma in Plastic Processing and Testing (PGD-PPT): Eligibility a three-year graduate degree in science with chemistry as one of the subject.
Post Diploma in CAD/CAM for Plastic/Mould Design (PD-Cad PMP): Eligibility three year Diploma in Mechanical/ Plastic / Chemical Technology/ Tool production Engineering Mechatronics/ Automobile Engineering/ Tool and Die Making/ CIPET DPMT or equivalent..
Post Diploma in Machine Maintenance (PD-MM): Eligibility three-year Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical &Electronics Engineering/ Mechatronics/ Instrumentation Engineering/ Tool and Die Making /CIPET DPMT or equivalent.
Diploma Post Diploma- Integrated Programme Plastics Mould Technology (PO-PMT), Plastics Technology (PD-PT/DPT): Eligibility Class X pass with Mathematics, English and science
