Post Doctoral Fellowships in Oxford

 OXFORD-PRINCETON GLOBAL LEADERS PROGRAMME The Global Leaders Fellowship (GLF) Programme, at Oxford and Princeton, offers post-doctoral fellowships in following subjects
1)world politics and 2) political economy
Applicants must be doctorate holder and from  a developing country. Fellowships, with appropriate stipends sufficient to cover full living costs, will be awarded in each of the next two years. Fellows will study at Oxford for one year, followed by a year at Princeton. The status during the period at Oxford University will be that of Visiting Post-Doctoral Research Fellow. Fellows will not be employed by the university but will receive a stipend (GBP35646 per-annum). The second year of the appointment, at Princeton, will be at a level anticipated to be approximately $56000. Requirements: You must be a national of a non-OECD country ; substantial experience of working in a non-OECD country; completed doctorate (or evidence of imminent completion) in a subject relevant to global development and the role of developing countries in the world political economy; evidence of outstanding prior academic accomplishment and of plans to develop a career in keeping with the purposes of the GLF programme; evidence of outstanding analytical and research skills; evidence of a clearly articulated research project which contributes broadly to our understanding of how policymakers and institutions in developing countries can develop more effective strategies — particularly in global politics — for dealing with the effects of globalisation in ways which benefit their populations.
