Admission to this Full-Time Face-to-Face Advanced Level Certificate, Diploma and Degree Programmes in Engineering in Flexible Open University Pattern can be availed as per the following eligibility criteria:
(1). Advanced Level Certificate Course & (2). Diploma in Enqineering
1st Year To Advanced Level Certificate: 10th pass or equivalent with minimum 50% aggregate.
1st Year of Diploma: Same as above-
Lateral Entry to Diploma: 10+2 Years ITI Certificate in Engineering Trades or 10+2 Vocational OR Two year Advanced Certificate Course in Engineering awarded by IGNOU
(3) Degree in Engineering

1st Year: 10+2 pass (PCM) or equivalent And having minimum 50% aggregate in PCM.
Lateral Entry: 3 Years Diploma in any branch of Engineering or B.Sc (PCM) or Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA)* Or Bachelor of Computer Science (BCS)* Or equivalent * BCA/BCS are eligible for EE/ECE/CSE

The admission process will start with the filling of the on-line applications by the prospective students which is available on-line in web-site: www.ignouviep.org (link: http://www.ignouviep.org/finalapp2011_2012/instruction.php). Before starting to fill-up the Application form on-line, the candidate should have the DD of Rs.100/=( drawn in favour of IGNOU VIEP INSTITUTIONS FEE A/C and payable at New Delhi) in hand as application fee. After duly filling the on-line Application, the print- out of the filled on-line application form along with the DD of Rs.100/- (Rupees one hundred only) drawn in favour of IGNOU VIEP INSTITUTION FEE A/C and payable at New Delhi is to be sent to DIRECTOR-VIEP, New Hall, School of Engineering and Technology(SOET), Block-C,New Academic Complex, Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), Maidam Garhi,New Delhi-110068.
On-line filling of the applications would be closed on 10.08.2011
The last date of receiving the print- out of filled on-line Application Form along with the original DD of Rs. 100/- at the IGNOU office will be 12.08.2011.
