Eligibility for Admission:

All those who have passed the B.A./B. Sc. Degree examination of any of the Universities in Kerala under the 10+2+3 pattern with single main and two subsidiary subjects or of any University recognized by the University of Kerala as equivalent thereto are eligible for admission subject to the following stipulations regarding marks. However, candidates who have qualified the double main, triple main, Restructured & Vocational courses of other Universities will be considered for admission if and only when they furnish the photocopies of the eligibility certificate from Kerala University along with the application, to the effect that their qualifying examination is recognized for the purpose of admission to B. Ed. degree course in a particular optional subject.
a. The minimum marks for admission to B. Ed Degree Course is 50% for the Science and Arts Subjects in Part III OR
b. A Minimum of 50% marks in B.A./B. Sc. degree examination for Part I English or Part II Languages viz. Malayalam, Hindi, Sanskrit & Arabic as the case may be. They should possess a Masters Degree in the concerned subject with not less than 50% marks.
Eligibility requirements for each optional
Applications:
Separate application forms are issued for each district. Candidates applying for the same optional subjects at different colleges of one district need submit only one application. Candidates applying for admission in more than one district should submit separate application in the prescribed form issued for that district.

Filled in application with relevant documents and University pay-in-slip Rs.220/- (Rupees Two hundred and twenty only) or a single DD for Rs.230/- (Rupees Two hundred and thirty only) towards Registration Fee and cost of application, in favour of the Finance Officer, University of Kerala from SBT/State District Co-operative Bank at Thiruvananthapuram should be sent to The Deputy Registrar (Acad-II), University of Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram.
The last date for submission of the filled in application is 05.08.2011.
