Eligibility Criteria :
The minimum academic qualification for appearing in AIEEE 2012 is that the candidate must have passed in final examination of 10+2 (Class XII) or its equivalent referred to as the qualifying examination . Those appearing in 10+2 (Class XII) final or equivalent examination in 2012 may also appear in AIEEE 2012 provisionally. However, admission criteria in the concerned institution/university will be followed as prescribed by concerned university/institution and as per the guidelines & criteria prescribed by AICTE.
Subject combinations required in the qualifying examination for admission to B.E./B.Tech. and B. Arch./B. Planning Courses shall be as under:
B.E/B.TECH - Physics & Mathematics with Anyone of the Optional Subjects: Chemistry, Bio-technology, Computer Science, Biology
B.ARCH/B.PLANNING - Mathematics with 50% marks in aggregate at 10 + 2 level
Date of Birth:
Only those candidates whose date of birth falls on or after October 01, 1987 are eligible. However, in the case of Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disabilities (PWD) candidates, upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years, i.e. SC, ST and PWD candidates who were born on or after October 01, 1982 are eligible. Date of birth as recorded in the Secondary Education Board/University certificate only will be taken as authentic.

The candidates should supply all the required details while filling up the online form. On submission of details, a Confirmation page with Registration No. shall be generated. Candidates are required to take printout of Confirmation page and paste photographs, put left hand thumb impression, sign in the space earmarked for the purpose and write down the Residential Address. The confirmation Page is to be sent by Registered/Speed Post to CBSE and payment can be made as follows:
(a) by credit/debit card, or
(b) Demand draft from any scheduled commercial bank.
Candidates submitting applications online are required to retain a photocopy of Confirmation Page with Registration No. and Copy of mode of remittance of Examination fee.
Examination including counselling fee is as under:
1) For BE/B.Tech only or B.Arch/B. Planning only:
a) Fee for offline Examination: Rs. 800 (General/OBC) and Rs. 400 (SC/ST & PWD)
b) Fee for Online Examination: Rs. 500 (General/OBC) and Rs. 250 (SC/ST & PWD)
2) For Both BE/B.Tech and B.Arch/B. Planning:
a) Fee for offline Examination: Rs. 1400 (General/OBC) and Rs. 700 (SC/ST & PWD)
b) Fee for Online Examination: Rs. 1100 (General/OBC) and Rs. 550 (SC/ST & PWD).

B. On line examination for B.E. /B.Tech only (Computer base testing)
7-05-2012 to 26.05.2012 Paper 1 Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics 1st shift 9.00 am to 12.00 noon.
