Eligibility:
Unmarried graduate Mechanical / Naval Architecture Engineers with minimum 50% marks, and 50% marks in English for Std. X or XII are eligible to apply for the course.
Other Requirements:
Age - Not more than 28 years on 01st Jan 2012.
Physical Fitness - Medical fitness certificate from Medical Officer approved by Directorate General of Shipping.

Course Fee:
At the time of admission, the candidate shall pay course fee of Rs.2,75,000/- (Two Lakhs Seventy Five Thousand only) by Demand Draft of any Nationalized Bank, in favor of 'Cochin Shipyard Limited', payable at Ernakulam. This includes Tuition fee, Study Materials, Library fee, Laboratory charges, Uniforms, Boarding and Lodging expenses, Swimming pool charges, Group Insurance and Student Membership of Institute of Marine Engineers. The course fee for female candidates is Rs.2,00,000/-
Trainees have to bring a Demand Draft for Rs.1,200/- (as of now) in favour of 'MARITIME TRAINING TRUST - INDoS ACCOUNT' payable at MUMBAI, as INDoS application fee to INDoS Cell, at the time of admission.
