Indian Institute of Science Education and Research Bhopal (IISER) has invited applications from Indian Citizens for admission to PhD Course commencing from August 1, 2012 in the following areas
:
Biological Sciences
Chemical Sciences
Earth & Environmental Sciences
Mathematical Sciences
Physical Sciences
Minimum Qualifications:
The applicant must have a MSc Degree (minimum 55% marks) respective areas or allied area with a valid GATE / UGC / CSIR / JEST / ICMR / DBT / NBHM or any other government recognized score card.
Assistantship / scholarship:
Financial aid (Assistantship / scholarship) is provided for PhD programme as per rule.
Application Fee
Prescribed Application must be sent along with a fee of Rs.200/- (General/OBC) and Rs.100/- (SC / ST / PH) by a Demand Draft favoring Director, IISER Bhopal, payable at Bhopal.
Reservation
Reservation will be 15% for SC, 7.5% for ST and 27% for OBC (Non-creamy layer) for the year 2011-12. Also up to 3% reservation shall apply as per Government of India rules for persons with physically disable candidates.
