University of Madras, Chennai has invited applications from eligible candidates for admission to the following Programmes of Academic Year 2012-13 under Choice Based Credit System (CBCS):

(2) MPhil programmes
(3) PG Diploma Programmes
(4) Diploma programmes
(5) Certificate programmes

Application form for admission can also be downloaded from the website link at

However, the cost of application for Rs.300/- (Rs.150/- for SC / ST Candidates) by means of Demand Draft, in favour of Registrar, University of Madras, Chennai-5, shall be enclosed. Application forms can also be obtained from the Admission Sales Counter, University of Madras, Chennai-5 on submission of a DD for Rs.300/- (Rs.150/- for SC / ST Candidates) in favour of Registrar, University of Madras, Chennai-5.

Separate application forms (at a cost of Rs.300/- (Rs.150/- for SC / ST Candidates)) shall be submitted for each Programme (including Regular and Self-supportive programme) offered by the different Schools. Applications cannot be transferred from one School to another. The filled-in Application shall be sent directly to the Registrar, University of Madras, Tholkapiar Valagam (Chepauk) on or before the cutoff date specified below.

The MBA / MCA application forms shall reach the office 7 days of release of TANCET result by the Anna University along with a copy of the TANCET Marks obtained from Internet.
