Courses for teaching disabled student

Teaching itself is one kind of social work. But if you are teaching a student with disabilities will be a great kind social work. NIEPMD is offering BEd, Diploma and certificate courses for the empowerment of disabled student. Below mentioned are courses offered by Institute National Institute for Empowerment of Persons with Multiple Disabilities (NIEPMD),  of Academic Year 2012-13. 


1. BEd - Special Education (Multiple Disabilities): Eligibility: A Bachelor Degree from an UGC approved University in any of the Secondary School subjects in the pattern of 10+2+3 or 11+1+3 with minimum marks of (OC - 50%. BC -45%, MBC / DNC - 43%, SC / ST - 40% Or PG Degree in Economics, Commerce, Home Science, Political Science, Sociology, Psychology, Philosophy, Logic and Indian Culture from an UGC approved University with minimum marks of 50% Application Fee: Rs. 500/- (Rs. 350/- for SC / ST / PH) 
2. Diploma in Education - Special Education (Deaf blind): Eligibility: A pass in 10+2 / HSc / Intermediate with 50% of marks Application Fee: Rs. 300/ (Rs. 200 for SC / ST / PH) 
3. Diploma in Education - Special Education (Cerebral Palsy): Eligibility: A Pass in 10+2 / HSc / Intermediate Application Fee: Rs. 300/ (Rs. 200 for SC / ST / PH) 
4. Diploma in Education - Special Education (Autism Spectrum Disorders): Eligibility: A Pass in 10+2 / HSc / Intermediate Application Fee: Rs. 300/ (Rs. 200 for SC / ST / PH) 
5. Certificate course in Prosthetic & Orthotic (CPO): Eligibility: Certificate from ITI in any of the trades of Fitter / Carpenter / leather (or) A pass in SSLC / X std / Matriculation with 2 yrs working experience in a recognized P&O centre
