Modellers - They make the models for animation. Must have a solid understanding of anatomy, form and volume.
Story board artists: Story board artist is job is visualize the story by quick pencil drawing or in computer.This job required strong drawing skills
Character animators - They bring characters to life by giving emotion in addition to physical action.
Background artists - Background artist makes the background painting according the story. They should have knowledge in photoshop, drawing and painting

For example when a character jumps from the top of the mountain, in this case character may jump from the 6feet high, but compositors combine the big mountain instead real one.
