The day trader is generally defined as “an individual who conducts intra-day trading in a focused and consistent manner, with the primary goal of earring a living through the profit derived from this trading strategy”. Day traders generally attempt to derive a profit by executing many intra-day traders to take advantage of small price movements in stock (1/8 or 1/6 of a point per trade). The principal characteristic that distinguishes day trader form other market participants is their mindset. Day traders generally acknowledge that they are not investor; due to the short time they hold positions. Many day traders hold stocks for second of hours, seldom overnight, closing out positions for small profit.
Through college degree is not mandatory for stock brokers, most of them posses at least degree. After your plus two, you can study commerce, economics, finance, computer and business management in the college. After degree, for membership of the stock exchange you need to work with broking firms as trainees for a minimum or six months. The training period includes working in accounting, securities, law market study and analysis, portfolio analysis exchange rules etc. In 1998 the Securities and Exchange board of India(Sebi) specified certification that every capital market employee, broker, executive, manager commerce and management student, professionals who indented to work in Derivative Future and Options segment of the Indian capital market ahs to take. The certifying authority is National Stock exchange (NSE) which conducts online tests called NSE certification in Financial Market (NCFM) in eight key financial areas. The test is objective type. The scores are valid for three years after which the test has to be passed again to remain in profession
