Singapore Airline offering Scholarship for a two year pre university course selected junior college in Singapore, leading to the singapore Cambridge General Certificate of Education(Advanced Level), an international qualification widely recognised by many countries. Studies will commence in Jan 2008 for successful applications this year.
Terms of award
The Scholarship will provide a maintenance allowance of $2,400 per annum with hostel accomodation settling in allowance, subsidised medical benefits, school and examination fees and return economy air passage at the beginning and end of the scholarship term.
There is no bond attached to the scholarship. Scholars who have done well can apply for further scholarship to pursue undergraduate studies in Singapore or overseas universities.
Who can apply
Students who are Indian national and are completing Standard in 10 in the year 2007(at least 85% average) with English as first language.

The Scholarship will provide a maintenance allowance of s$2,200(at secondary level)/ S$2,400 (at Pre-University) perannum with hostel accomadation, settling -in advance , subsidised medical benefits, school and examination fees and return economy air passage at the beginning and end of the scholarship term.
There is no bond attached to the scholarship. Scholars who have done well can apply for further scholarship to pursue undergraduate studies in Singapore or overseas universities.
Students who are Indian nationals and are completing standard 8th in the year 2007 are eligible to apply. Applicants should possess an outstanding academic track record (at least an average of 80%) with English as first language.
Short listed candidates will be invited for selection test at Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi and Mumbai
