The Times School of Marketing offers a 15-month long specialisation in marketing to suit the business needs of the communication and media sector. The course entails class room lectures supplemented by internships, giving students a sense of how the industry works. The on the job training includes an RMD-circulation department internship. This training involves hands-on learning of distribution and market research to tap consumer preferences in the market and in advertising. The sales internship entails tapping the promotional and actual selling aspects that affect an organisation. Students who undergo this course are placed with the Times Groups — The Times of India, Times Music, Radio Mirchi, Indiatimes, Times Now, Times Business Solutions and Zoom.
