Technology & Management at IIT Delhi and Madras commencing July 2008 by ECC-the Construction Division of Larsen & Toubro Limited. ECC will provide selected candidates with a stipend of Rs 7000 per month and also pay tuition and sponsorship fee to the IITs. Those who successfully complete the course will be considered for absorption in regular employment in accordance with the company’s terms and conditions.
WHO CAN APPLY?
First class graduates with minimum aggregate average of 65 per cent in civil, mechanical, and electrical engineering who will graduate in 2008 from a recognised Indian university/ institute. Age not over 23 years as on July 1, 2008; minimum height 160 cms and minimum weight 50 kgs. If wearing glasses, the power should be plus or minus 5.0 diopters. Before joining selected candidates will be required to execute and undertaking for Rs 3,00,000 to complete the course and subsequently, if selected for employment, to serve the company for a minimum period of five years.
