Postgraduate courses 2008 session at Central Institute of Psychiatry, Kanke, Ranchi- 834 006 (Jharkhand)- three- year MD in Psychiatry, two-year Diploma in Psychological Medicine, three-year PhD in Clinical Psychology, two-year MPhil in Medical and Social Psychology, MPhil in Psychiatric Social Work
Eligibility:
Refer www.cipranchi.nic.in for details. Selection for MD and DPM depends upon the entrance exam of multiple choice question (MCQs) with 100 questions to be answered in one hour. There will be 0.25 negative marking for wrong answers. Questions will be of MBBS standard (10 per cent from psychiatry and allied behavioural science, 10 per cent from neurology, 30 per cent from general medicine, and 50 per cent from medical subjects). The entrance test for PhD in Clinical Psychology and MPhil in Medical and Social Psychology, MPhil in Psychiatric Social Work courses will be of 100 MCQs to be answered in 60 minutes with questions of MA/ MSc standard. There will be 0.25 negative marking for each wrong answer
