Russian Language Study

JNU Jawaharlal Nehru University,New Delhi Delhi University have been teaching Russian for decades. Students have once again started enrolling for Russian language courses.In DU, Russian is being taught in 18 colleges apart from the Slavic and Finno-Ugrian Department in South Campus. These colleges include Stephens, Hindu, Ramjas, Daulatram, Miranda House, LSR, JMC, PGDAV, Janki Devi, Deen Dayal Upadhyay. Jamia Millia Islamia teaches Russian as a part time course (certificate, diploma and advanced diploma course) as well as a subsidiary that undergraduate studies of the faculties of humanities and social sciences can opt for. M S University, Baroda offers PhD in Russian language. There are many job opportunities in translation, interpretation and teaching and a good foundation in Russian will take you far.
