HINDU-HITACHI SCHOLARSHIPS
Technical training in Japan.There will be three scholarships in all.The scholarships are tenable in Japan for principally six months, commencing about July 2008.Trainees may have general training in one of the following products of Hitachi (i) Information and Telecommunication Systems (ii) Power and Industrial Systems and (iii) Digital Media Products, subject to the convenience of each of Hitachi’s establishments. Selected trainees will be provided return economy class air passage. Arrangements will also be made for free boarding and logging for trainees in Japan and to defray all expenses for travelling in Japan. In addition, each trainee will be paid a monthly fixed allowance to cover personal expenses
Who can apply?
Indian citizens who haven not completed 30 years of age as on March 31, 2008 and with minimum BE or BSc (Engineering) or its equivalent from a recognised university.At least one year’s professional experience in the above mentioned fields.Those interviewed in previous years need not apply.Parents or guardians of selected candidates shall guarantee their good conduct and shall undertake to pay their repatriation should their conduct be found unsatisfactory by Hitachi Ltd or any public authority in Japan or in case they desire to discontinue their studies in Japan for any reason whatsoever during the period of their scholarship
