Eligibility:
Resident Indian nationals, studied in schools located in India in the preceding 2 years, completing 17 years on or before Dec 31, 2008; passed or currently appearing for HSC exam under 10+2+3 pattern with PCB and English as subjects of study; passed individually in each subject and obtained not less than 50% in PCB (40% for SC/ST). Entrance exam will be in English only and of two and a half hours duration.The questions will be based on the HSC/equivalent standard as prescribed by the state boards and CBSE.There will be 200 multiple choice questions from English, physics, chemistry, botany and zoology. No negative marking.

Form:
Request for supply of form by post should reach Professor, (Academic) JIPMER, Pondicherrry-605006 with crossed DD in favour of ‘Accounts Officer, JIPMER’, payable at any nationalised bank in Puducherry Union Territory. DD should be for Rs 500 for General and Rs 400 for SC/ST candidates. Also send self addressed (size 10 X 7 cm) label. Submit online by accessing www.jipmer.edu. after having obtained the required DD.Take a print of a single online application form after successful submission of data. The printed form with candidate’s signature, left thumb print, photograph and DD (mention application number behind the DD) must be sent by speed post so as to reach the Professor (Academic) at the address above. Attested copies of SC/ST certificates, medical certificate in support of disability must be enclosed where applicable with the application form.
