Bachelor’s Admission Test (BAT 08)
For admission to:
(a) Bachelor of Hotel Management and Diploma in Hotel Management and Catering Technology at Welcomgroup Graduate School of Hotel Administration
(WGSHA) (b) BA Journalism and Communication Studies (BAJC) at Manipal Institute of Communication (MIC) (c) BA Geopolitics & International Relations (BA GIR) at Department of Geopolitics (d) BBM eBanking & Finance (BBM) at Department of Commerce (e) BBA Jewellery Design & Management (BBA JDM) at Manipal Institute of Jewellery Management (MIJM) (f) BSc Health Information Administration (BSc HIA) at Manipal College of Allied Health Sciences (MCOAHS)

Eligibility:
Indian national (a, d, e), pass in 10+2/equivalent with at least 50%. Based on performance in BAT 08, candidates will be shortlisted for GD and interview to held between April 26-28 at Delhi and May 3-5, 2008 at Manipal (b and c) 45% in 10+2/equivalent, arts group preferred (f) 45% in 10+2. BAT 08 is of two and a half hours and carries 100 marks. There will be one objective type question paper (with MCQs) divided into sections to test numeracy (20 marks), conceptual (25 marks), general English (20 marks), general awareness (20 marks), case study (15 marks).

Apply online at www.manipal.edu or write to the Director, Manipal University, Manipal-576104 by enclosing DD for Rs 500 in favour of Manipal University payable at Manipal or Udupi or Bangalore. Also available at select branches of State Bank of India.
