Preliminary test at Kolkata, Mumbai, Chennai, Delhi and Guwahati
For admission to:
3 year (full-time and residential) Diploma in Dramatic Arts (Hindi/ English) at National School of Drama, Bahawalpur House, Bhagwandas Road, New Delhi-110001. All selected students will be given monthly scholarship of Rs 3.000 to meet their academic expenses.
Eligibility:
Any graduate, participation in at least 6 productions, working knowledge of Hindi and English. Min 18 years and max 30 years as on July 1, 2008 (upper age limit relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST). Preliminary test comprises of an audition or practical test. Candidates who clear the first stage successfully then have to go through a 3-5 day workshop on the campus.The final selection is made on the basis of the potential shown.
Form Available in Hindi/English by writing to Assistant Registrar (Academic) with a crossed DD for Rs 225 in favour of the Director, National School of Drama, New Delhi. Also from NSD book shop on cash payment of Rs 150 (10am to 1 pm and 2 pm to4 pm).
