Tata Scholarships

Turkish Scholarships

Turkish Government Fellowship for 2008-2009 Research scholarships are granted to those who will do scientific research in (i) agriculture (ii) biotechnology (iii) environmental engineering at Turkish Universities. The scholarship programme will start on October 1, 2008. The duration of the scholarships is for two to eight months. Travel expenses to and from Turkey have to be met by students. Candidates selected for the scholarships will be provided with free accommodation at state dormitories affiliated to ministry of national education. Students can take advantage of lowcost food in the dormitories the cost of which will be met by students only. Monthly scholarship is of 200 New Turkish Lira (ie Rs 6,666 approx).
