Rural Management department at IRMA (Institute of Rural Management), Anand, has invited applications for admission to the following courses, for which an entrance test will be conducted on November 8.
•Postgraduate programme in rural management: A two-year residential course equivalent to Masters.
Eligibility: graduate in any discipline with 50 per cent marks.
The total course fee including the tuition fee is about Rs.3 lakh. Scholarships are available for deserving students. Campus placements will be arranged after successful completion of the programme.
•Fellow programme in rural management: It is a doctoral residential programme of minimum three-year duration.
Eligibility: Postgraduation in any discipline or a four-year professional degree with one-year work experience or a five-year professional degree. Every FPRM participant receives a gross fellowship of Rs.10,000 per month and a contingency grant of Rs.20,000 per year for four years. Placement assistance will also be provided. •Certificate programme in dairy management
Eligibility: Any graduate in engineering (mechanical, electrical, civil, electronics and communication, computer science and engineering) with minimum 65 per cent marks in aggregate. Stipend: Rs.15000 to Rs.18000 per month.
Tuition fee Rs.1.5 lakh to be paid by sponsoring organisations. Selection is based on written test, group discussion and interview.
Entrance test centres will include Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi, Coimbatore, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pune, Lucknow, Mumbai and Delhi.
Examination fee for one programme is Rs.1,000 for two programmes Rs.1,500 and Rs.1,800 for three programmes.
The payment can be made online or by a DD drawn in favour of IRMA payable at Anand.
