Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering(GATE)2101. Computerbased online on February 7,2010. TF Paper 09:30 to 12:30 hrs and MN Paper 14:30 hrs to 17:30 hrs. Offline Gate Examination for all other papers on February 14,2010 by Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati for admission to post Graduate courses(Masters and doctoral) in the country with Ministry of Human Resources Development(MHRD) and som other government Scholarship/assistantship in engineering, technology, architecture and Science
Eligibility
(a)Bachelors degree holders in engineering/technology/architecture (four years after 10+2) and those who are in the final or pre final year of such programmes
(b) Master degree holders in any branch of science/mathematics/statistics/computer applications or equvalent and those who are in the final or pre final year of such programmes
(c) Candidates in the second or higher year of the four year integrated master degree programme(Post BSc)in engineering/technology or in the third or higher year of five year integrated Master degree programme and dual degree programme in Engineering/technology
(d) Candidates with qualifications obtained through examinations conducted by professional societies recognised by union public service commission/All India Concil of Technical Education(UPSC/AICTE)as equivalent of such professional courses are also eligible
GATE 2010 Application form: Online of Offline. Application fee is Rs.800 for online
and Rs.1000 for offline for general category. Rs.400 is the application
fee for online and Rs.500 for SC/ST/PD Category
Deadline: NOvember 3 is the deadline for receipt of completed offline/online
application forms at respective Zonal Gate Offices
