P.G.DIPLOMA IN GIS & REMOTE SENSING at NPTI Faridabad
This is a one-year full time programme comprising of various modules in Geographical Information Systems & Remote Sensing to address the emerging needs of the Industries. The course has been designed with an optimum blend of theory and practical. The theory provides a sound knowledge base to cover basic concepts supplemented by rich exposure to various domains through industry experts for application development. On the other hand, adequate classroom practical exercises supplemented by proper on-the-job training at various industries would prepare the students to match the industry demands in GIS profession.
Formal class room coaching will be held at the “Centre of Excellence in GIS” at NPTI Corporate Office, located at Sector – 33, Faridabad
ELIGIBILITY: Engineering Graduates in any discipline or Post Graduates in Geosciences.
SELECTION CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION: Merit (% of marks) & Group discussion/ Personal interview.
AGE LIMIT: For non-sponsored candidates the age limit as on 10.11.2009 is 30 years. No age limit for the sponsored candidates
PLACEMENT:-
Students are placed in reputed companies for on-the-job training. NPTI and CES Technologies Private Limited would maintain close linkages with various reputed companies for final placement. The previous batch students are working in companies like NPCL, CES, CES Tech., RMSI, ITRL, BEAS, DAR, RSAC etc.
