Higher Study at Italy with scholarship

Bocconi Graduate School is an internationally recognized university of higher learning and research. It is ranked among the top 20 B-schools in the world, according to the latest FT and Wall Street Journal Rankings. Bocconi offers the following MSc programs in Business for which work experience is not mandatory: 1) Marketing, 2) Finance, 3) International Management, 4) Economics and Social Sciences (ESS), 5) Economics and Management in Arts, Culture, Media and Entertainment, and 6) Economics and Management of Innovation and Technology ( EMIT).
The Finance program aims to develop the knowledge and skills for a finance specialist or consultant. It offers courses in accounting, corporate finance, quantitative finance, risk management and derivatives. This enables students to choose from a number of specialised technical elective courses to complete a major in their desired field. It was also one of the first five graduate programs worldwide to be recognised as a CFA program partner by the CFA Institute. Students can pursue their second year at Rotterdam School of Management, the Netherlands or HEC, Paris. So far, students have been placed in companies like Bank of America, Barclay’s Capital, Citigroup, Credit Suisse, Deustche Bank, HSBC, JP Morgan-Chase, Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley, and Royal Bank of Scotland.
The entrance exam for the above programs is a GMAT or GRE score + Bachelor’s degree. Scholarships are provided to Indian applicants with 700 in GMAT or 790 in Quantitative section of GRE. These cover complete tuition fees for two years and free housing for two years. Partial scholarships are available for students with a 670 in GMAT or 750 in the quantitative section of GRE. The first application and scholarship deadlines for MSc is Jan 2010; the last deadline is 9th April. Need based scholarships are available for students with low family income.
