Admission to Management Programmes (MP) OPENMAT-XXVIII-2011. IGNOU invites application for the following Degree/Diploma programmes in management
Master of BUsiness Management (MBA)
Diploma in Management (DIM)
Post Graduate Diploma in Management(PGDIM)
Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resources Management(PGDHRM)
Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Management (PGDFM)
Post Graduate Diploma in Operation Management (PGDOM)
Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management (PGDMM)
All the above programmes have multi media design, and technolgy aided delivery system. These are offered through
countrywide network of study centres. The University will be admitting the students for the above degree/diplomas
in Management starting from january, 2011 through an Entrance test 'OPENMAT XXVIII' to be held on Sunday,
the 22nd August, 2010 all over the country.
Eligibility:
1)Graduation in any discipline with 50% marks for General Category and 45% for reserved category
OR
Bachelor's degree with three years of supervisory/managerial/professional experince of professioan degree in
Engineering/Technology/Medicine/Architecture/Law/Pharmacy; or professioanl qualification in Accountancy/ICWA/CS etc.
or Masters degree in any subject
2) Clearance of OPENMAT conducted by IGNOU. Candidates who have successfully cleared the entrance test for admission in to Management programme conducted by institutions like CAT, MAT and state level tests need not appear in OPENMAT conduated by IGNOU. The cut off percentage for admission of these candidates will be decided by the university.
3)Non-graduates(10+2 or equivalent) with six years of managerial/supervisory/professional experience are eligible
for taking admission into Diploma in Management only after clearing the entrance test
Student Handbook and Prospectus of IGNOU MBA
can be obtained from the Registrar (SRD), IGNOU, Maidan Grahi, New Delhi 110068 and from all the Regional centres of IGNOU, by sending the sum of Rs.550/- through a DD/IPO in favour of IGNOU payable at New Delhi, concerned regional centers by paying Rs.500/- in cash. Please write your name and address on the back of the DD/IPO. Last date for receipt of request for Prospectus by post is 30th June 2010.
Application form and prospectus can also be downloaded form the website and send along withe DD/IPO worth Rs. 550/- in favour or IGNOU payable at the city of regional centres by registered post/speed post to Registrar(SED), IGNOU Maidan Garhi, New Delhi 110068
Walk in Admission
Candidates who qualify entrance test can submit the registration from (Form-2), Which is available in the 'student Handbook & Prospectus' along with the hall ticket of the entrance test, to the respective regional centres along with the required fee on any day after the receipt of result card, for admission cycle starting from Jan 2011
Provision for online registration for admission to the successful candidates will be made available on the IGNOU website after the declaration of the entrance test result
