Candidates with a Master’s level degree in the respective discipline with a minimum OCPA of 7.00 (out of 10.00) or 70% marks or equivalent and with a minimum OCPA of 5.50 (out of 10.00) or 55% marks or an OGPA of 2.00/4.00 or equivalent in the B.V.Sc/A.H or equivalent programme are eligible to apply for the course.
Animal Biotechnology PhD program will be conducted at Post Graduate Institute of Veterinary Education and Research
Candidates with a Master’s level degree in the respective discipline with a minimum OCPA of 7.00 (out of 10.00) or 70% marks or equivalent and with a minimum OCPA of 5.50 (out of 10.00) or 55% marks or an OGPA of 2.00/4.00 or equivalent in the B.V.Sc/A.H. or B.Sc (Biotechnology/Medical) or B.Sc (Hons) Biotechnology/Biochemistry/ Microbiology and Molecular Genetics or equivalent programme are eligible to apply.
PhD in Aquaculture will be conducted at College of Fisheries
Candidates with a Master’s level degree in aquaculture with a minimum OCPA of 7.00 (out of 10.00) or 70% marks or equivalent and with a minimum OCPA of 6.50 (out of 10.00) or 55% marks or an OGPA of 2.00/4.00 or equivalent in the B.F.Sc programme are eligible to apply.
Propsectus and application forms can be obtained from the office of the Dean, College of Vety Science, GADVASU, Ludhiana-141004 either by sending crossed bank draft for Rs 950/- drawn in favour of the Comptroller, GADVASU, Ludhiana and payable at any scheduled bank at Ludhiana or personally from the office of the Dean, College of Vety Science, GADVASU, Ludhiana on payment of Rs 900/- in cash.
Last date for submission of completed application forms to the office of the Registrar, GADVASU, Ludhiana-141004 without late fee is 26.11.2010; with late fee of Rs 600/- is 03.12.2010.
