Candidates seeking admission should be having any of the following: (a) Graduate in Arts, Commerce, Science, and in any other branches of Social Science in the 10+2+3 mode or (b) Graduate in Engineering, Technology, Medicine, Pharmacy and Agriculture.

Application forms can be obtained in person from the University sales counter at Rajbati, Burdwan on payment of Rs. 300/- in cash and production of relevant degree mark-sheet. Request for outstation candidates for sending form by post have to reach Secretary, Faculty Council (Arts),  University of Burdwan, P.O. Rajbati, Dist. Burdwan, West Bengal - 713 104 not later than 30.11.2010. Outstation candidates must enclose attested photocopy of degree mark-sheet, a crossed Demand Draft of Rs. 300/- favouring "Finance Officer, The University of Burdwan", payable at SBI, Burdwan, and a self-addressed stamped (Rs. 5/-) envelope.
