Forest professional perfume and advisory role in governmental and non-governmental organizations to encourage management and maintenance of the earths forest reserves. They also work as industrial and agricultural consultants in various industries that utilize forest resources. Foresters work as financial consultants in forestry organizations On the manufacturing side, they assist in the manufacture of timber, paper and other wood based products. Prevention of forest fires, wasteland development, social forestry, eco-tourism etc are other areas that fall within the ambit of forestry specialists. Research in the protection and regeneration of forests is also an important task performed by foresters.
