School of Planning and Architecture, Bhopal has invited applications, from eligible candidates to take admission in Doctoral Program, beginning from January 2011. School of Planning and Architecture is established the Govt. of India as 'Institute of National Importance' in the year 2008. The School is committed to produce best architects and planners for the nation to take up the challenges of physical and socio-environmental development of global standards.
Eligibility:
Master Degree in Architecture/ Planning or equivalent degree with a good academic record.
Doctoral Fellowship:
To be considered for fellowship the candidates should have a valid GATE score/ of Govt./ Non Govt. Fellowship/sponsorship. Doctoral fellwoship of the school shall be available for full time candidates with two years research work experience who are not sponsored by their employers or receiving a fellowship from any other source. Duration of the fellowship shall normally be three years but shall be extended for a maximum of six months on recommendation by the research guide
Download Application form and Complete application forms should be accompanied by a DD of Rs.1000/- drawn on a nationalized bank in favor of Director, SPA, Bhopal, payable at Bhopal. The Scheduled Cast, Scheduled Tribe and Physically handicapped candidates are required to send a DD of Rs.500/-.
Selection procedure:
Eligible candidates possessing the minimum qualifications and satisfying additional criteria set by the school,
will be called for an interview by selection committee. Based on the academic record and the perfoamce of the candidates in the interview, the names of the candidates found suitable for admission to the PhD program will be finalized
Duly filled Application Form along with attested photocopies of all relevant certificates and documents have to reach AR (Admissions), SPA, Bhopal- 46205, M.P on or before 22 Nov. 2010 by 5:00pm.
