Pilot License Course Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi

Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi (Autonomous Institute under the Ministry of Civil Aviation Govt of India) has invited applications for admission to  CPL (Commercial Pilot License) Course. This 15 months course will start on September 2011.
Eligibility for General category: 10 + 2 or equivalent with Physics, Mathematics & English as main subjects. Studied English at 10+2 level with minimum of 55% marks in aggregate in Mathematics & Physics. Candidates having higher educational like Degree or PG  with Mathematics and Physics as subjects should have passed English in 10+2 level and  minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in Mathematics & Physics at 10+2.
Eligibility for SC/ST/OBC: English at 10+2 level and should have scored a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in Mathematics & Physics at 10+2.
Age limit: Minimum age limit for above course is 17 years at the time of joining the course.
Selection procedure: Entrance Test, Pilot Aptitude Test , Viva and Interview.
Entrance test will be objective type question based on 10+2 level Maths, Physics and English. Test will be conducted at Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkatta, Lucknow and Mumbai from 10:00 hrs on 19th June, 2011

The following documents should be attached to the filled Application form.
(i) Self Attested Copy of Caste certificate (for SC/ST/OBC) and the Certificate from a competent authority indicating that the OBC candidate does not belong to creamy layer as per Govt. of India guidelines
(ii) Two recent passport size (3cm x 4cm) photographs ( One pasted on form and the other enclosed)
(iii) Application fee of Rs. 5,000/- by Demand Draft in favour of ‘Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi’ drawn on any Nationalized/Scheduled  Bank and payable at Delhi. SC/ST candidates are exempted for payment of application fee.

Filled application with necessary documents should reach ‘The Director, Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi, Fursatganj Airfield, Raebareli, Uttar Pradesh-229302’, latest by 14th May 2011.
