ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS
(A) Doctoral Programme (Anna University Chennai and University of Pune only):-
(i) Anna University Chennai, Chennai
(a) Under Faculty of Engineering
Candidate should possess first class M.E. / M.Tech. degree in the Faculty of Information and Communication Engineering and Faculty of Electrical Engineering (i.e M.E./ M.Tech. degree in Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electronics and Instrumentation, Instrumentation Engineering, Information Technology, etc.) or equivalent, as recognised by the Anna University Chennai.
(b) Under Faculty of Science and Humanities
MCA Degree with a Fist class
(ii) University of Pune, Pune
Candidates should possess a M.E./M.Tech. degree in Computer Science and Engineering, or MCA degree under an Engineering or Science Faculty or an equivalent qualification as recognised by University of Pune.
(B) M.E. Programme
(i) Anna University Chennai, Chennai
Candidate should posses first class B.E. / B.Tech. degree in the Faculty of Information and Communication Engineering and Faculty of Electrical Engineering (i.e, B.E. / B.Tech. in the branches mentioned above), (OR) MCA degree with a first class
(ii) Bengal Engineering and Science University, Shibpur, West Bengal
The candidate should possess a first class B.E/B.Tech or degree equivalent in the faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (i.e degree in branches like Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Instrumentation and Control Engineering, etc.) only.
(iii) University of Pune , Pune
Candidates should possess a non-Computer Science Engineering degree (M.E./M.Tech./B.E./ B.Tech. in any subject other than Computer Science) only.
ADDITIONAL ELIGIBLITY CONDITIONS
(i) A prospective candidates should have taught subjects for MCA students at least for two years
(ii) He / She should be a full time regular / permanent faculty member in an institution approved by the AICTE
(iii) The candidate should be sponsored on deputation for the period of study with pay.
Admitted candidates will be paid stipend and contingency as per the norms of AICTE.
