School of Post Graduate Studies, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU), Coimbatore, has invited applications for admission to Post Graduate Programs of Academic Year 2011-12.

Ph.D. program in 27 disciplines

Seed Science & Technology, Soil Science & Agrl.Chemistry, Biotechnology, Environmental Science, Master of Business Administration, Sericulture, Agrl. Meteorology & Climatology, Econometrics,
Agricultural Nanotechnology M.Tech, Faculty of Horticulture, Fruit Science (Hort.), Vegetable Science

Eligibility for Master/Doctoral programs
Masters program :
Graduates who have completed four years degree program in any one of the State Agricultural Universities / Colleges affiliated to State Agricultural Universities alone are eligible to apply for masters.

Doctoral programs :
Candidates who have studied four years degree program and two years masters program in any one of the State Agricultural Universities / Colleges affiliated to State Agricultural Universities alone are eligible to apply for doctoral programs.

Minimum OGPA /Aggregate requirement:
Masters / Doctoral Programs: A candidate who has undergone course credit system with a minimum OGPA of 3.00 out of 4.00 or 7.00 out of 10.00 or 70% aggregate alone is eligible to apply for various Masters and Ph.D. programs. However, for SC/ST candidates a pass in the qualifying degree is sufficient for all programs.

A demand draft (DD) for Rs. 850/- (Rs. 425/- for SC/ST) per subject drawn in favour of Dean (SPGS), TNAU, Coimbatore payable at State Bank of India,
TNAU Branch, Coimbatore - 3 should accompany the applications.

Last date for submission of application is as follows:
Masters programme - 30-06-2011, Doctoral Programme - 22-07-2011
