PG Diploma in Entrepreneurship Management


Applications have been invited by Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDI), Ahmedabad for admission to the following PG Diploma courses of Academic Year 2012-14:

* Post Graduate Diploma in Management-Business Entrepreneurship (PGDM - BE)
* Post Graduate Diploma in Management-Development Studies (PGDM - DS)
* Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Executive)-Enterprise Creation & Growth (PGDM - Executive)

Eligibility:
PGDM - BE & PGDM - DS
The candidate must hold a Bachelor's Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA [45% in case of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Differently Abled (DA) categories], awarded by any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an act of the Parliament or declared to be deemed as an University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India. Students appearing for the final year degree examination, at the time of application, can also apply. Preference will be given to women, Non-Creamy Other Backward Classes (NC-OBC) and candidates from family business background. Preference will also be given to candidates who have entrepreneurial or intrapreneurial experience.

PGDM - Executive:
3 years' Bachelors Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 5 years relevant business / managerial / supervisory experience. It is mandatory to produce documentary evidence of work experience.

Admission:
The admission process consists of entrance examination, entrepreneurship aptitude test and personal interview. EDI accepts CAT, MAT and XAT scores in lieu of entrance examination. Students, opting for PGDM-BE through CAT, MAT or XAT

The duly filled downloaded form should be sent to EDI along with a Demand Draft of Rs.1000/- drawn in favour of 'Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India', payable at Ahmedabad or by transferring Rs.1000 to the EDI PG admission account no 00061000237748 with HDFC bank.
