The Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, Surat, Gujarat has invited application in prescribed form for the 'Entrance Test' of PhD Programme in the Faculties of Arts, Science, Commerce, Management, Medicine, Law and Education.
Condition of eligibility:
Master Degree with at least 55% (50% in the case of SC / ST / PH candidates) from this or any other university recognized by the U.G.C. and Student who has passed the MD / MS or MSc ( Medical) Degree examination from this or any other university recognized by the MC I. Those student who have Diploma Degree in Medicine Faculty, shall have 1 (one) year professional experience for the said subject. State Medical Council / MCI registration is a precondition for appearing for PhD Entrance Exam 2012 (In Medical Faculty) and its proof should be submitted.
Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC) / Scheduled Tribes (ST) / Physically Handicapped (PH) / socially and Economically Backward Class (SEBC) must attach attested copy of necessary certificates and the latest non creamy layer certificate (i.e. issued after 01/04/2012) in case of SEBC candidate with the application form.

The Application forms will be accepted on or before 15/09/2012 by 4:00 pm during working hours at the Postgraduate Section (Room No.-121)
The Entrance Examination is scheduled on 30th September, 2012 at Veer Narmad South Gujarat University Campus, Udhna Magdalla Road, Surat.
Forms are available at Account Section of the VNSG University, against the payment of Rs.1000/- only by cash or through DD in favour of "Registrar Veer Narmad South Gujarat University" OR a form can also be downloaded from the web site link:

which can be submitted along with a
DD of Rs.1000/-. Those candidates who have been exempted from the PhD eligibility test are also required to fill up the application form along with the payment of Rs.1000/- only by cash or through DD.
