The North Orissa University has invited applications in prescribed form for admission in the following courses in distance learning mode for the academic session 2012-13.
COURSES AND ELIGIBILITY:
1. Master in Computer Application (MCA) -Eligibility: Graduation in any stream with Maths at +2 level
2. P.G. Diploma in Computer Application (PGDCA) - Eligibility: Graduate in any stream
3. Master in Business Administration(MBA)- Eligibility: Graduate in any stream
4.M.A. in Journalism & Mass Communication-Eligibility: Graduate in any stream
5. Master of Social Work(MSW)-Eligibility: Graduate in any stream
6. M.A. in PMIR - Eligibility: Graduate in any stream
7. M.A. in Political Science - Eligibility: Graduate in any stream
8. M.A. in Education - Education in Graduation/B.Ed
9. Bachelor in Library & Information Sc.(BLISc) Eligibility:- Graduate in any stream
10.M.A. in History - Eligibility: - Graduate in any stream
11.M.A. in Sanskrit -Eligibility:- Graduate in any stream
12.M.A. in Oriya -Eligibility: Graduate in any stream
13.M.A. in English - Eligibility:Graduate in any stream
14.M.A. in Sociology - Eligibility:Graduate in any stream
15.M.A. in Economics - Eligibility:Graduate in any stream
16.M.A./M.Sc. in Anthropology - Eligibility:Graduate in any stream
Sl No.- 7 to 16 : Admission only at North Orissa University Study Centre Besides admission fee a student will have to contribute a non refundable University Corpus Fund of Rs.250/- and has to fill up the forms for their respective courses at the time of admission with a examination fee of Rs. 1000/-
Application forms and the prospectus can be obtained: a. By hand from the office of the Director, DDCE or from the Study Centres by depositing demand draft of Rs.300/- b. By post from the office of the Director, DDCE , NOU by depositing demand draft of Rs.350/- c. By down loading from the website www.nou.nic.in and be submitted to the study centre of their choice with a requisite fee of Rs.300/- in shape of demand draft. All the payment is to be made by demand draft in favour of Comptroller of Finance, North Orissa University, in any nationalized bank, payable at Baripada
