What is eligibility for distance MBA calicut University

Who can apply for calicut university distance MBA course ?
Any student passed degree courses including from calicut university distance education institute can apply for  MBA through distance education mode.
Other university candidates (ie who studies degree from other university) should have passed degree in the pattern of 10+2+3 or 10+1+4 under regular scheme
Above all conditions candidates should have graduation in any subject with 50% of marks 
SC/ST/OBC candidates have relaxations as per university norms.

What is the admission procedure for distance MBA at Calicut university?Calicut university distance education department will conduct a common entrance examination. This entrance examination is carrying total 120 marks. Candidates should score minimum 30 marks to pass this exam. University will provide rank list according to this test and weight age marks in PDC marks
There will be a weight age marks depends up on your Pre Degree marks.
If you are scored above 50% marks in PDC you will get weight age marks. Maximum weight age mark will be 30. If you are scored above 80% marks in PDC, you will get full weight age marks.

How much years valid for MBA distance calicut university ?
Registration period of calicut university distance MBA is five years. Student who have registered to expected to completed the course within five years. If he/she fail in this course he can appear MBA exams of regular courses off successive batches. If failed student is appearing the exam within the five years, he/she can opt the old syllabus, there will be total of three chances for writing in old syllabus(within the five years period)

Each student shall secure a minimum of 2 credits in university examination for each course for a pass in MBA distance course.
