Director of Technical Education of Kerala invited application from engineering diploma holders for admission to the Second Year/Third Semester of the B Tech Programmes under the Lateral Entry Scheme.
Selection procedure: There will be a state wise entrance examination for selecting candidates. examination will be conducted at major cities in Kerala
Exam syllabus
The OMR based Entrance Examination will have 120 objective type questions from selected subjects of first year B.Tech course and English language. There will be questions from English, Mathematics, Engineering Mechanics, IT and Computer Science, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Electronics & Communication Engineering. There will be four options for each question. Candidates should use only blue/black ball point pen to darken the bubbles in the OMR Sheet. Each correct answer will be awarded 3 marks .
Negative marks : 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.

Application Fee: Application fee is Rs.750/- for General candidates and Rs.375/- for SC/ST candidates.Application fee must be paid to ‘Shakti Account’ of the Joint Controller of Technical Examination at any branch of SBT. Applicants of ST category, having annual income below Rs.40, 000/- no need to pay.
After submitting online application form, take print out and send along with copy of your certificates to below mentioned address
