Higher Study in Singapore

Studying engineering in Singapore can fetch you employment in that country immediately and make the Permanent Residency (PR) process easy. The UK Engineering Council Certificate Course in Mechanical Engineering being offered in Singapore has this dual advantage, particularly for students who aim to settle down abroad. “The course of $ 6,000 is a steal for Indian students who pay huge amounts to get into management quota seats in good colleges,” says S. Jaipaul Reddy, MD of St. Joseph’s Consultants.

He says the programme is recognised by the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) and Graduates from the programme can work on ‘S’ pass or Employment Pass. All ‘S’ pass and Employment pass holders are eligible to apply for PR. The MOM doesn’t recognise many engineering programmes offered by India and the same is the case with engineering professional bodies there. And students who have pursued some of the recognised engineering programmes in India cannot practice as engineers without gaining some work experience in Singapore. Students who have completed Intermediate or 12th class are eligible for the course. For details, mail: -adm.singapore@gmail.com – or 040-66363939 and 9347308475
