MANIPAL University announced freeships and scholarships for deserving candidates appearing for the 2008 admissions.The freeships are for candidates admitted to MBBS, BDS, BE and B Pharm courses. 100 per cent freeships are offered to candidates within the first 100 ranks of the merit list. Also, admitted candidates with ranks between 101 and 500 and with an annual gross family income less than or equal to Rs.2 lakh are offered 100 per cent freeship.
